Terms of Service
Rugtective is an automated tool that reads public blockchain data and returns a risk verdict for a token at the moment it is scanned. It is not advice, not an audit, and not a guarantee. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and cancelling takes one click. Disputes go to individual arbitration or Florida small claims, not class actions, and you have 30 days to opt out. Our liability is capped. The full terms below control.
Automated technical data only; not financial, investment or legal advice
Rugtective is an automated blockchain data-reading utility. Every score, grade (CLEAR, CAUTION, AVOID), simulation and check output is a deterministic, point-in-time read or simulation of public blockchain state at a specific block height.
A CLEAR verdict or a high score is not an endorsement, a safety guarantee, a security audit, or a recommendation to acquire, hold or dispose of any digital asset. Contract code, liquidity, holder distribution and control can change in any later block. Malicious actors may use obfuscated code, external hooks, off-chain coordination, or actions taken long after a scan, none of which can be observed at scan time. You assume all risk for your own research and for every transaction you make.
Public blockchain data and algorithmic classifications
All metrics, simulations, wallet-cluster relationships and historical deployment classifications shown by Rugtective are automated mathematical criteria applied to immutable public ledger records.
Terms used in the software, including honeypot, flag, hard, AVOID, creator-linked cluster and prior token liquidity removed, are technical shorthand defined by our published algorithmic criteria, such as a simulated sell that reverts, or post-launch liquidity removal above 30%. They are not assertions of criminal intent, fraud, or the real-world identity of any person or entity.
Public reports cite the block number and transaction hash so anyone can verify them on the ledger. Any developer or entity who believes an automated criterion has misclassified a contract may submit verifiable on-chain transaction hashes to support@rugtective.com and we will re-index the contract state.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You are responsible for your account credentials and for everything done under your account. One person per account. Do not resell, redistribute or scrape the service, and do not use it to build a competing dataset.
Subscriptions, automatic renewal and cancellation
By subscribing you authorize Ape Aura LLC, through Stripe, to automatically charge your payment method at the start of each billing period at the then-current rate shown at checkout, plus any applicable tax, until you cancel.
Monthly plans renew every month. Annual plans renew every year, and we will email you a reminder between 30 and 60 days before each annual renewal, stating the date, the amount and a link to cancel.
You may cancel at any time, in the same electronic way you subscribed, using Manage subscription in your account, or by emailing support@rugtective.com. On cancellation your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for and no further charge is made. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already charged are not refundable once a billing period has begun.
If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's billing and cancellation rules apply to that subscription instead of this section.
Service provided as is
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that any verdict is correct, that any check will detect any particular risk, or that the service will be free of error or downtime.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Florida and federal law, neither Ape Aura LLC nor its parent entities, members, managers, employees or licensors is liable for any trading loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, smart-contract exploit, rug pull, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damage, under any theory, even if we were told such damage was possible.
Our total cumulative liability for all claims relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the subscription fees you actually paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars.
Informal resolution, individual arbitration, small claims and class-action waiver
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
60-day notice before filing. Before either of us starts an arbitration or a small claims case, the party with the claim must send an individual written notice of dispute, personally signed by that party and not only by a lawyer, to Ape Aura LLC at 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, and by email to support@rugtective.com. The notice must give the account email, the relevant transaction IDs, the facts of the claim, and the specific relief sought. Both parties will then negotiate in good faith for 60 days after the complete notice is received. Any limitation period is paused during those 60 days.
Small claims. Either party may instead bring a qualifying individual claim in a Florida small claims court of competent jurisdiction, or in your county of residence where consumer rules require it. Either party may elect small claims even after an arbitration demand is filed, as long as it is before an arbitrator is appointed.
Individual arbitration. Any other dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Rugtective will be resolved only by final and binding individual arbitration, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, including its mass-arbitration supplementary rules where they apply.
Class-action and jury waiver. You and Ape Aura LLC each agree to bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or member of any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. Both parties waive any right to a trial by jury.
Batching of coordinated claims. If 25 or more substantially similar arbitration demands are brought against Ape Aura LLC by, or with the help of, the same law firm, group of firms, or coordinated organization, the claims will proceed in staged batches of up to 50. In the first stage, claimants' counsel and our counsel each select five claims to be arbitrated individually. All other claims are stayed, their limitation periods paused, and no filing or administrative fee is assessed on a stayed claim until it is selected for an active stage. After the first stage the parties will attend a global mediation before any later batch begins.
30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement, but not of the governing law and venue section, within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, by emailing support@rugtective.com with your name, account email and a clear statement that you are opting out.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act as to the section above, and otherwise by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For any matter that may proceed in court, you and Ape Aura LLC consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state courts located in Florida, or the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Changes
We may change these Terms. If a change is material we will post the new version with a new last-updated date and, for subscribers, email notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.
